Here we  have my latest  make, a little collaged wooden heart shaped hanging decoration.  It is made from an antiqued copy of an old postcard, poppy image and text, embelished with tattered old lace and vintage mother of pearl buttons.  It hangs from a real silk ribbon, which has been dyed the same colours as the poppy image.

This is the base for a fabric and paper collage.  The plan is to add some vintage lace and buttons.

Here is a new piece I have created today, it is my version of a mixed media piece by a talented collage artist called Lisa Hoffman.  I have always loved this poem, or proverb, whatever you would like to call it, it really speaks to me as a woman, and an artist, and I am sure it will mean something to most women.
